Julie Nihill

Julie Nihill is an Australian actress born in Melbourne in 1957. She made her television debut in 1981 in the series I Can Jump Puddles and her film debut in Careful, He Might Hear You in 1983. Nihill gained recognition for her role as Chris Riley in the police drama Blue Heelers, which she played for 12 years from 1994 to 2006. She received a Penguin Award for her lead role in the ABC TV movie Every Move She Makes. Nihill has appeared in various television programs including Prisoner: Cell Block H, Sons and Daughters, A Country Practice, and House Husbands. She is also a theatre performer and has worked extensively in Australian theatre.
