Born on February 22, 1950, she has received numerous accolades including four British Academy Television Awards, two British Academy Film Awards, two International Emmy Awards, a Golden Globe Award, and a Laurence Olivier Award. Walters has been nominated for two Academy Awards, one for Best Actress and one for Best Supporting Actress.
