    Jundai Yamada Biography
    Jundai Yamada (山田 純大) is a Japanese actor known for his work in films, television dramas, and stage performances. Born as Sumihiro Yamada, he is represented by the Horipro Booking Agency. Jundai's father is the renowned actor and singer Ryōtarō Sugi. He completed his primary education at Seijo Gakuen Primary School and went on to graduate from junior high and high school in Hawaii. He further pursued his studies at Pepperdine University, graduating from the Department of Asian Studies and Department of International Relations. Jundai made his acting debut in 1997, playing Junnosuke Mochizuki in the NHK Asadora Aguri. He has since appeared in various popular works, including the Tokyo Broadcasting System drama Mito Kōmon and the film Merdeka 17805. In addition to his acting career, Jundai Yamada has also authored a book on Setsuzo Kotsuji, a figure who assisted Jewish refugees arriving in Vladivostok.
