June Angela

June Angela Profanato, born August 18, 1959, is an American actress, singer, and dancer. She gained recognition for her role as Julie, the mainstay member of the Short Circus band, in the PBS children's television series The Electric Company, which aired for six years. Starting her career at the age of 5, Angela displayed her talent in ballet, jazz, and tap. Despite her passion for entertainment, she maintained academic success and graduated from SUNY Empire State College at the age of 18. With a unique blend of Asian and New York influences, Angela has become a prominent figure in the entertainment industry, paving the way for Asian-American performers.
