June Lockhart (born June 25, 1925) is an American actress known for her roles in films such as A Christmas Carol and Meet Me in St. Louis. She gained prominence in the 1950s and 1960s through her work in television, particularly in the series Lassie and Lost in Space where she portrayed motherly roles. Lockhart also appeared on stage and in film. She received two Emmy Award nominations and won a Tony Award. With a career spanning 90 years, she is one of the last surviving actors from the Golden Age of Hollywood. June Lockhart was born in New York City, New York, the daughter of actors Gene Lockhart and Kathleen Lockhart.
