June Squibb

June Squibb is an American actress known for her versatile performances in film and television. Born on November 6, 1929, in Vandalia, Illinois, Squibb began her acting career in the 1950s. She gained critical acclaim and an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the film Nebraska. Throughout her career, Squibb has appeared in numerous films, including Alice, In & Out, About Schmidt, I'll See You in My Dreams, and Palm Springs. She has also lent her voice to animated films such as Ralph Breaks the Internet, Toy Story 4, and Soul. In addition to her film work, Squibb has had recurring roles on television shows like Ghost Whisperer, Shameless, Good Girls, and Little Voice. She is married to acting teacher Charles Kakatsakis and has a son named Harry, who is a filmmaker.
