Justina Machado

Justina Milagros Machado (born September 6, 1972) is an American actress known for her versatile performances on television and in film. She gained recognition for her role as Vanessa Diaz in the HBO comedy-drama series, Six Feet Under, and received the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series for her work on the show. Machado has also appeared in several other television series, including Missing, Three Rivers, Welcome to the Family, and Queen of the South. She further showcased her talent as Penelope Alvarez in the critically acclaimed Netflix/Pop TV comedy series, One Day at a Time, receiving praise from critics and winning two Imagen Awards for Best Actress - Television.
