Kaho Minami is a Japanese actress of Korean descent, known for her work in film, television, and commercials. Born on January 20, 1964, in Amagasaki, Japan, Minami graduated from Toho Gakuen College of Drama & Music in Tokyo. She made her debut in the film industry with the main role in Kohei Oguri's For Kanako (1984) after auditioning during her college years. In 1985, she also starred in her first drama series on TBS television. Over the years, Minami has appeared in a variety of projects, including theater, movies, and television dramas. Some notable films in her career include Angel Dust (1994), Infection (2004), The Go Master (2006), and Sketches of Kaitan.
