Kamal Sidhu

Kamal Sidhu (born February 24, 1968) is a Canadian model, VJ, TV anchor, and actress. She gained recognition by winning the Miss India–Canada title in 1991. Raised in Canada, Sidhu holds a university degree in pre-medical and is fluent in Tagalog, English, Punjabi, and French. Before her career in the entertainment industry, Sidhu was an athlete training for the Olympic Games as a heptathlete, but an injury forced her to pursue other paths. She started her career with Channel V and later MTV Asia, becoming one of the first prominent Indian VJs. Sidhu has also worked with channel AXN and appeared in various TV shows and films.
