Kandi Burruss (born May 17, 1976) is an American producer, television personality, singer, songwriter, businesswoman, and actress. She gained recognition in 1992 as a member of the R&B group Xscape. As a songwriter, Burruss has writing credits on hit songs by Destiny's Child, P!nk, Ariana Grande, and Ed Sheeran. In 2000, she won a Grammy Award for Best R&B Song for her work on TLC's 'No Scrubs'. Her debut single 'Don't Think I'm Not' and collaborations with Solé and E-40 have charted on the Billboard Hot 100. Burruss is also known for her role on the reality TV series 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' since 2009.
