Kapil Talwalkar

Kapil Talwalkar is an Indian American actor and musician. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Tobin in NBC's musical dramedy Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist and Neil in the reboot of the sitcom Night Court. Born in India and raised in Cupertino, California, Talwalkar has been acting since his teenage years. He attended USC Dornsife, majoring in international relations with a minor in the USC School of Dramatic Arts. After graduating, he received training in the Meisner technique under William Esper and Joshua Bitton in Los Angeles. Talwalkar's professional acting career began with the role of a hip origami prodigy in Animals out of Paper. He also appeared in the ABC drama pilot False Profits as a series regular. His notable work includes his main role as Tobin in NBC's Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist and reprising it in the Roku film Zoey's Extraordinary Christmas.
