Karen Shenaz David (born April 15, 1979) is a Canadian actress, singer, and songwriter. She is best known for her roles in various television series and films. David portrayed Princess Isabella Maria Lucia Elizabetta of Valencia in ABC's fairytale-themed musical-comedy series Galavant and Cesca Montoya in the BBC One drama series Waterloo Road. She also appeared as Layla in the action film The Scorpion King 2: Rise of a Warrior. David has had recurring roles on The CW's Legacies as Emma, a guidance counselor and witch, and on Fear the Walking Dead as Grace Mukherjee. She was born in Shillong, Meghalaya, India, and has a diverse heritage of Chinese, Parsi-Indian, and Indian-Jewish ancestry.
