Karen Prell

Karen Prell (born July 26, 1959) is an American puppeteer and animator. She is best known for her role as Red Fraggle in the TV series Fraggle Rock. Prell was born in Florida and raised in Seattle, Washington. She has also performed characters in other Jim Henson films and worked as a computer animator for studios like Pixar and DNA. Prell has contributed to Sesame Street, performing as Deena Monster and various other characters. Besides her work on TV shows, she has worked as an animator on films including Geri's Game, A Bug's Life, and Toy Story 2. Prell is also an animator for Valve. She occasionally makes public appearances as Red Fraggle.
