Karey Dornetto is an American screenwriter known for her work on popular television series such as Arrested Development, Community, Portlandia, and South Park. She has also written the script for the feature-length film Addicted to Fresno. Born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina, Dornetto initially pursued a career in finance after majoring in the subject at the University of South Carolina. However, her passion for comedy led her to explore writing and stand-up comedy in New York City. After sending her work to agent Matt Rice, Dornetto landed a writing job on South Park. Since then, she has primarily focused on writing for various television shows, showcasing her talent for humor and storytelling.
