Kari Elizabeth Byron is an American television host best known for her role on the MythBusters and White Rabbit Project series. Born on December 18, 1974, in the Bay Area, California, Byron graduated from San Francisco State University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts in film and sculpture. From 2004 to 2014, she was a cast member of MythBusters as part of 'The Build Team'. Byron also hosted Head Rush, Large, Dangerous Rocket Ships, and Punkin Chunkin on the Science Channel. In 2016, she co-hosted Netflix's White Rabbit Project and Crash Test World in 2019. Byron is also an artist, author, and co-founder of EXPLR Media, an education streaming service. Her memoir, Crash Test Girl, was published in 2018.
