Karina Arroyave Biography
Karina Arroyave (born July 16, 1969) is a Colombian-American actress known for her roles on various television shows and films. She gained recognition for her portrayal of Bianca Walsh on As the World Turns from 1988 to 1994. Arroyave's notable television appearances include Jamey Ferrel on 24 (2001-2002), Meirce on The Blacklist (2021–2022), and Karla Cordova on Orange Is the New Black (2019). She made her film debut in the 1989 drama Lean On Me and went on to have supporting roles in Falling Down (1993), Dangerous Minds (1995), One Eight Seven (1997), In Too Deep (1999), and Crash (2004), among others. Arroyave was born in Colombia and moved to New York City at a young age. She studied acting at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School and honed her comedic skills at The Groundlings in Los Angeles. In 1993, she made her Broadway debut in the play In the Summer House.
