Karine Plantadit

Karine Plantadit is a French-born dancer and performer, known for her exceptional talent and versatility. Born on January 15, 1970, she was raised in Cameroon before relocating to Cannes at the age of 14 to pursue her passion for dance. Plantadit later moved to New York City to study under the renowned dance company, Alvin Ailey. Throughout her career, she has showcased her skills in various productions, including Saturday Night Fever, The Lion King, Movin' Out, and Frida, where she portrayed the iconic Josephine Baker. In recognition of her outstanding performance, Plantadit received a Tony Award nomination in 2010 for her role as Kate in the musical Come Fly Away.
