Karl Urban

Karl-Heinz Urban is a New Zealand actor born on June 7, 1972, in Wellington. He started his career with appearances in New Zealand films and TV series like Xena: Warrior Princess. Urban made his Hollywood debut in the 2002 horror film Ghost Ship and went on to star in various high-profile movies. He portrayed Éomer in The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Vaako in the Riddick film series, Leonard McCoy in the Star Trek reboot films, Kirill in The Bourne Supremacy, John 'Reaper' Grimm in Doom, Judge Dredd in Dredd, Gavin Magary in Pete's Dragon, and Skurge in Thor: Ragnarok. Urban also starred in the sci-fi series Almost Human and currently plays Billy Butcher in Amazon's The Boys.
