Karra Elejalde Biography
Carlos Elejalde Garay, known professionally as Karra Elejalde, is a Spanish actor and occasional filmmaker. He was born on October 10, 1960, in Vitoria-Gasteiz. Elejalde began his acting career in independent stage plays and made his feature film debut in 1987. Throughout the 1990s, he collaborated with renowned Basque directors such as Juanma Bajo Ulloa, Álex de la Iglesia, and Julio Medem, which helped establish his acting career. Elejalde also ventured into filmmaking, co-directing his first film, 'Año Mariano,' in 2000 and later making his solo directorial debut with 'Torapia' in 2004. He is known for his roles as Mortadelo in 'Mortadelo y Filemón contra Jimmy el Cachondo' (2014) and Koldo in the 'Ocho apellidos' film series.
