    Kate Baldwin, born Katherine Baldwin on May 2, 1975, is an American singer and actress known for her work in musical theater. She gained recognition for her Tony Award-nominated performance in the 2009 Broadway revival of Finian's Rainbow. Baldwin also received Tony, Drama Desk, and Outer Critics Circle award nominations for her role as Irene Molloy in the Broadway revival of Hello, Dolly! where she starred alongside Bette Midler, David Hyde Pierce, and Gavin Creel. Born in Evanston, Illinois, Baldwin graduated from Shorewood High School in Wisconsin and attended Northwestern University's theatre program. With a versatile voice and extensive stage experience, Baldwin has established herself as a prominent figure in the world of musical theater.
