Kate del Castillo

Kate del Castillo Negrete Trillo is a Mexican-American actress known for her roles in both film and television. Born on October 23, 1972, in Mexico City, Mexico, del Castillo gained recognition at the age of 19 for her lead role in the telenovela Muchachitas. She went on to star in various telenovelas, including Alguna vez tendremos alas, La Mentira, Ramona, and Bajo la misma piel. In 2011, del Castillo achieved worldwide fame for her role in the Telemundo series La Reina del Sur. She later starred in the Netflix series Ingobernable as First Lady of Mexico Emilia Urquiza. Del Castillo also made her mark in Hollywood, appearing in films such as Under the Same Moon, No Good Deed, The 33, El Chicano, and Bad Boys for Life.
