Kate Dickie Biography
Kate Dickie (born 1971) is a Scottish actress known for her roles in television series, stage plays, and films. She gained recognition for her portrayal of Lex in the BBC series Tinsel Town (2000–2001) and Lysa Arryn in the HBO series Game of Thrones (2011, 2014). Dickie made her feature film debut in Red Road (2006), directed by Andrea Arnold, where she played the character Jackie and received critical acclaim, winning several awards including Best Actress at the British Academy Scotland Awards and the British Independent Film Award. She has also appeared in films such as Prometheus (2012), Filth (2013), The Witch (2015), and Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017). In addition to her acting career, Dickie supports the theatre company Solar Bear as a patron.
