Kate Levering

Kate Levering (born January 3, 1979) is an American actress and dancer. She gained recognition for her Tony Award-nominated role in the 2001 musical 42nd Street. Levering is most known for her portrayal of Kim Kaswell in the Lifetime comedy-drama series Drop Dead Diva. Born in Sacramento, California, she attended El Camino Fundamental High School where she honed her talents in musicals and dance classes. Levering made her mark as Peggy Sawyer in the revival of 42nd Street, earning a Tony Award nomination and winning the Fred Astaire Award for Best Female Dancer. She later starred in the Broadway production Thou Shalt Not. Levering has displayed her versatility and skill in both stage and screen performances.
