Kate Lyn Sheil

Kate Lyn Sheil is an American actress known for her roles in independent films such as You're Next, V/H/S, The Color Wheel, The Sacrament, and the Netflix series House of Cards. Born and raised in Jersey City, New Jersey, she studied at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. She gained recognition for her performance in Kate Plays Christine, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2016. In 2020, she starred in She Dies Tomorrow, directed by Amy Seimetz. Sheil's latest film, The Seeding, directed by Barnaby Clay, premiered in 2023.
