Kate McNeil (born August 17, 1959) is an American actress known for her roles in TV shows and movies. She gained recognition through her portrayal of various characters in the CBS daytime soap opera As the World Turns from 1981 to 1984. In 1983, she took on the leading role in the slasher film The House on Sorority Row, and in 1988, she starred in the horror film Monkey Shines, directed by George A. Romero. Kate McNeil started her acting career after studying theater at Ithaca College and went on to appear in other projects like the miniseries Kane & Abel (1985) and North and South Book II (1986).
