Kate O'Flynn is a British actress known for her performances on stage and screen. Born in 1986, she gained recognition for her role in the National Theatre's production of Port, which earned her a Critics' Circle Theatre Award in 2013. O'Flynn has also showcased her talent in plays like A Taste of Honey in 2014 and The Glass Menagerie, earning her a nomination for a Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actress in 2017. On screen, she has appeared in films such as Up There (2011) and Mr. Turner (2014), as well as television series including Kingdom (2009), Landscapers (2021), and Death in Paradise (2022). O'Flynn began her acting journey at Manchester's Royal Exchange youth theatre and further honed her skills at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA). Her career took off with her debut role in Mike Leigh's 2008 film Happy-Go-Lucky, followed by her award-winning performance in The Children's Hour with the Royal Exchange Theatre Company.
