Katharine McPhee

Katharine McPhee, born on March 25, 1984, is an American singer-songwriter and actress. She gained recognition as the runner-up on the fifth season of American Idol in May 2006. McPhee released her eponymous debut album on RCA Records in January 2007, which debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart. Her debut single, 'Over It', became a Billboard Top 30 hit and earned a gold certification in 2008. She followed it up with her second album, 'Unbroken', released in 2010, which peaked at number 27 on the Billboard 200. McPhee has also released a holiday-themed album titled 'Christmas Is the Time to Say I Love You' in October 2010.
