Katherine Bailess

Katherine Bailess is an American actress, singer, and dancer. She is best known for her roles as Erica Marsh on the CW's hit show One Tree Hill, Stephanie on Gilmore Girls, and Kyle Hart on VH1's Hit the Floor. Bailess was born in Vicksburg, Mississippi to Natalie and Bobby Bailess. Her father, Bobby, is a former linebacker for the Ole Miss Rebels football team. Bailess began training in dance at a young age and also participated in competitive gymnastics and cheerleading. She performed as a dancer on the televised Miss Mississippi Pageant for 7 years. Bailess studied dance at the Broadway Dance Center in New York City and the Broadway Theater Project in Florida. She later attended the William Esper Studio's two-year intensive program.
