Katherine Kingsley

Katherine Kingsley (born December 24, 1981) is an English actress. She was born and raised in Cambridge and attended Parkside Community College and Long Road Sixth Form College. Kingsley later moved to London to study with the English National Opera's The Knack and then pursued acting at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. Known for her performances in various iconic venues including the Donmar Warehouse, the Menier Chocolate Factory, and the Chichester Theatre, Kingsley has received critical acclaim for her role as Marlene Dietrich in the Donmar production of Piaf, earning her an Olivier nomination in 2009. She has also been recognized with a second Olivier nomination for her portrayal of Lina Lamont in the 2012 Chichester Festival theatre production of Singin' In The Rain. Katherine has appeared in The 39 Steps at the Criterion Theatre and has been involved in several other notable projects.
