Kathleen Bradley Biography
Kathleen Bradley is an American former model, singer, actress, and host. She gained recognition as a 'Barker's Beauty' on the CBS daytime game show The Price Is Right from 1990 to 2000, making history as the first permanent African American model on the show. Born in Girard, Ohio, Bradley won the 'Miss Black California' award in 1971. In the 1970s, she was a member of disco groups The Love Machine and Destination. Bradley portrayed the character Mrs. Parker in the 1995 movie Friday. In December 2000, she and Janice Pennington were released from their modeling duties on The Price Is Right after testifying during a lawsuit involving host Bob Barker and model Holly Hallstrom.
