Kathleen Gati is a Canadian actress known for her portrayal of Liesl Obrecht on the ABC daytime soap opera General Hospital. Born on August 13, 1957, she began her acting career in off-Broadway productions and appeared on the ABC daytime soap opera All My Children in 1989-1990. Gati moved to Hungary in the early 1990s for a film role and stayed there for five years before returning to the United States. She has appeared in movies such as Sunshine, Igby Goes Down, Meet the Fockers, and The Future. Gati has also made guest appearances on various television shows, including The Practice, NYPD Blue, ER, Cold Case, Desperate Housewives, NCIS, The Mentalist, and Arrow. She also had a recurring role as Russian First Lady Anya Suvarov on the Fox series 24 from 2006 to 2007.
