Kathleen Madigan

Kathleen Madigan is an American stand-up comedian and TV personality. Born in Florissant, Missouri, Madigan grew up in a large Irish Catholic family. Her parents, Jack and Vicki Madigan, worked as a lawyer and a nurse. She received her education in private Catholic schools and also attended the public School of the Osage. Madigan excelled as a student athlete, participating in volleyball, track, and basketball. In 1978, she set a record as the shortest person to win the Mid-Missouri Hoops Shoot Championship, shooting under-handed. Known for her witty and observational style, Madigan has become a popular figure in the comedy scene and has appeared as a regular guest on various U.S. television programs.
