Kathleen Noone Biography
Kathleen Noone (born January 8, 1945) is an American actress known for her work in television. She began her career as a singer in nightclubs and appeared in off-Broadway musicals before making her television debut on the CBS soap opera, As the World Turns (1975–1976). From 1977 to 1989, she portrayed Ellen Shepherd Dalton on the ABC soap opera, All My Children, winning a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 1987. Noone transitioned to prime time television in 1990, playing villainous Claudia Whittaker on the CBS series, Knots Landing (1990–1993). She later appeared in several recurring roles on popular shows such as L.A. Law, Party of Five, According to Jim, and Dexter. Noone was born in Hillsdale, New Jersey and attended the University of Miami and Southern Methodist University.
