Kathleen Widdoes is an American actress known for her role as Emma Snyder in the television soap opera As the World Turns. Born in Wilmington, Delaware, she moved to Manhattan to pursue stage work and studied at the Sorbonne in Paris under a Fulbright scholarship. Widdoes has been nominated for four Daytime Emmy Awards for her role in As the World Turns. She was also nominated for a Tony Award and a Drama Desk Award. In addition, she has won two Obie Awards and a Lucille Lortel Award. Widdoes has appeared in various TV shows, including Here Come the Brides and Roald Dahl's Way Out, as well as performing in productions of the Yale Repertory Theater.
