Katie Brayben

Katie Brayben is an English actress, singer, and musician. Born on September 3, she has performed in stage plays, television shows, and musicals. She is best known for her portrayal of Carole King in the London production of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, for which she won the 2015 Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical. She also won a second Olivier award in 2023 for her performance in the title role of Tammy Faye. In addition to her acting career, Brayben is a talented singer and songwriter, playing the piano and guitar. She comes from a musical background, with both of her parents being London blues-based performers, and her sister also being a folk music performer.
