Katie Cassidy

Katherine Evelyn Anita Cassidy, born on November 25, 1986, is an American actress. She gained recognition for her roles in various horror films and TV shows. Cassidy became known as a scream queen after her performances in movies like When a Stranger Calls (2006) and Black Christmas (2006). She also appeared as Ruby in the popular horror series Supernatural (2007–2008). Cassidy had leading roles in the mystery horror series Harper's Island (2009) and the remake of Melrose Place (2009–2010). She starred in the slasher film A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010) and had a recurring role in Gossip Girl (2010–2012). Cassidy achieved breakthrough success as Laurel Lance / Black Canary in the CW series Arrow, and has appeared in other Arrowverse shows like The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow.
