Katie Stevens

Katie Stevens, born Katherine Mari Stevens on December 8, 1992, is an American actress and singer. She gained recognition as a contestant on the ninth season of American Idol, finishing in eighth place. Stevens is known for her roles as Karma Ashcroft in Faking It and Jane Sloan in The Bold Type. She grew up in Middlebury, Connecticut and attended Pomperaug High School, where she graduated in 2010. Stevens is of Portuguese descent and is fluent in Portuguese. She is also involved in philanthropy, having helped establish the Evan Gagnon Memorial Scholarship Fund. Stevens began performing at a young age, showcasing her talent as a singer from the age of five.
