Kato Kaelin, born Brian Gerard Kaelin on March 9, 1959, is an American actor, radio, and television personality. He gained public attention as a witness in the O. J. Simpson murder case. Kaelin was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and earned the nickname 'Kato' after the character played by Bruce Lee on The Green Hornet. He attended Nicolet High School and later the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire, where he created his own talk show called Kato and Friends. Eventually, Kaelin moved to Hollywood and became a minor witness for the prosecution during the highly publicized Simpson trial in 1995. He has since appeared in various TV shows and films.
