Katy Cavanagh

Katy Cavanagh, born Kathryn Sarah Collins Jupe on December 12, 1973, is an English actress known for her role as Julie Carp in the ITV soap opera Coronation Street from 2008 to 2015. She has also appeared in the BBC drama The Cops (1998–2001) and the ITV drama Bob & Rose (2001). Cavanagh has had a regular presence on British television since 1997, including roles in Dalziel and Pascoe (2004) and Shameless (2006). She trained at RADA and the National Youth Theatre. Born in North Shields and raised in Bolton, Lancashire, Cavanagh is the daughter of a drama teacher and a headmaster.
