Katy Wix

Katy Victoria J Wix, born on 28 February 1980, is a Welsh actress, writer, author, and artist. Known for her versatile talent, she has appeared in various television roles, including Carole in Stath Lets Flats, Mary in Ghosts, Barbara in Ted Lasso, and Jules in Big Boys. Wix has also showcased her skills as a contestant on Taskmaster and as a recurring character in Torchwood: Children of Earth. Her creative endeavors extend beyond acting, as she has written two sitcom series for BBC Radio 4 and a sketch show for Channel 4. In addition, Wix is a talented artist, with her painting being selected for the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition in 2017. She has authored two books of monologues and recently published her first work of non-fiction, Delicacy. Born in Pontypridd and raised in Peterston-super-Ely near Cardiff, Wix comes from a family rooted in the arts, with both her parents being former actors. She attended the University of Warwick in Coventry before pursuing her successful career in the entertainment industry.
