Katya Zamolodchikova

Katya Zamolodchikova, born Brian Joseph McCook on May 1, 1982, is an American drag queen, actor, author, recording artist, and comedian. Best known for his drag persona, Katya, he gained recognition as a contestant on the seventh season of RuPaul's Drag Race, where he placed fifth. He also achieved runner-up status on the second season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars. Katya has appeared in various TV shows including the World of Wonder web series UNHhhh and the Viceland series The Trixie & Katya Show alongside Trixie Mattel. Known for their comedic chemistry, Trixie and Katya are a popular comedy duo. Born and raised in Marlborough, Massachusetts, Katya is of Irish descent.
