Kavi Raz

Kavi Raz (born 1 January 1953) is an Indian-born British actor, writer, director, and producer. He left Punjab, India at a young age and grew up in the United Kingdom. Raz attended university in the San Francisco Bay area and later founded the Wandering Players' Theatre Company, which staged several World and US premieres of plays from India. In the mid-1970s, Raz pursued a career as an actor in Hollywood at a time when roles for South Asian actors were limited. Despite skepticism from friends and relatives, Raz persevered and pursued his dream of becoming an actor. He has since appeared in numerous movies and TV shows, leaving a lasting impact on the industry.
