    Keith Theodore Olbermann (born January 27, 1959) is an American sports and political commentator and writer. He began his career in sports journalism, working as a correspondent for CNN and various local TV and radio stations in the 1980s. Olbermann gained recognition as a co-host of ESPN's SportsCenter from 1992 to 1997. He later worked as a producer and anchor for Fox Sports Net and hosted Fox Sports' coverage of Major League Baseball.
