Keith Powell is an American television actor, writer, director, and web series creator. He is best known for his role as James 'Toofer' Spurlock on the hit TV show 30 Rock. Powell was born on August 12, 1979, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He later moved to California before graduating from St. Mark's High School in Wilmington, Delaware. Powell continued his education at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2001. In addition to his acting career, Powell is also known for creating and starring in the web series Keith Broke His Leg, which earned him several Indie Series Awards in 2016.
