Keith Richards

Keith Richards (born 18 December 1943) is an English musician, songwriter, and recording producer. He is best known as an original member, guitarist, secondary vocalist, and co-principal songwriter of the Rolling Stones, a rock band formed in 1962. Richards' songwriting partnership with lead vocalist Mick Jagger is one of the most successful in music history. His career spans over six decades, during which his guitar playing style has become synonymous with the Rolling Stones. Richards gained notoriety for his romantic involvements and drug use, and he was often seen as a countercultural figure. He was born in Dartford, Kent, and studied at the Dartford Technical School and Sidcup Art College before joining the Rolling Stones.
