Keivonn Woodard

Keivonn Montreal Woodard is an American actor known for his breakout role as Sam in the TV show 'The Last of Us'. He made his film debut in 2018 with 'Seeds of Hope: The Andrew Jackson Foster Story'. Woodard, who is deaf, was specifically cast for his fluency in American Sign Language. At the age of 10, he became the youngest nominee in the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series category. Woodard is the first black deaf actor and the second deaf actor overall (after Marlee Matlin) to be nominated for an Emmy. He is set to appear in the short film 'Fractal' by Anslem Richardson.
