Kel O'Neill Biography
Kel O'Neill is an American film director, artist, and actor. He gained recognition as one half of the filmmaking duo Jongsma + O'Neill, partnering with Eline Jongsma. Born and raised in Andover, Massachusetts, O'Neill's parents were both officers in the US Army and met in Vietnam. He made his acting debut in 2002's XX/XY and went on to appear in films such as Easier With Practice, Stephanie Daley, and Redacted. O'Neill was initially cast in Paul Thomas Anderson's There Will Be Blood, but was replaced after two weeks of production. Though he continued acting, the experience inspired him to pursue his own filmmaking aspirations.
