Kelly Macdonald is a highly acclaimed Scottish actress known for her diverse performances in film and television. She gained recognition for her breakout role in Danny Boyle's Trainspotting (1996) and has since appeared in numerous notable films such as Elizabeth (1998), Gosford Park (2001), and Nanny McPhee (2005). Macdonald received critical acclaim and a nomination for the BAFTA Award for Best Supporting Actress for her role in No Country for Old Men (2007), directed by the Coen brothers.
