Kelly Anne McCormick is a retired female diver from the United States. Born on February 13, 1960 in Anaheim, California, she is the daughter of diving champion Pat McCormick and diving coach Glenn McCormick. Kelly competed in two Summer Olympics, winning a silver medal in 1984 and a bronze medal in 1988 in the Women's 3m Springboard event. Growing up in Rossmoor, CA, Kelly initially pursued gymnastics and later transitioned to diving. She attended Los Alamitos High School and then the Ohio State University, where she trained under coach Vince Panzanno. With nine National Championships and an Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women 3m springboard championship, Kelly became a renowned figure in the international diving scene.
