Kelly Cherelle Price (born April 4, 1973) is an American R&B and gospel singer. She began her singing career in 1992 and gained attention for her backing vocals on Mariah Carey's hit songs 'Fantasy' and 'All I Want for Christmas Is You.' Price further rose to prominence with uncredited guest appearances on The Notorious B.I.G.'s 'Mo Money Mo Problems' and Mase's 'Feel So Good.' Inspired by her success, she released her debut album 'Soul of a Woman' in 1998, which reached platinum status. The album's lead single 'Friend of Mine' charted in the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100. Price has also collaborated with Whitney Houston and Faith Evans, earning a Grammy nomination for their song 'Heartbreak Hotel.'
